Moreover, users can overlay these images onto traditional NOAA charts, enabling a comprehensive view of the fishing grounds. In addition to its core mapping functionality, the app offers tide and weather forecasts that can be localized to specific areas or accessed through NOAA zone weather forecasts, assisting in planning and decision-making during fishing trips.
The application boasts a range of features, including private groups for sharing locations, custom routes, and waypoints, satellite overlays for different regions such as Naknek/Kvichak, Egegik, Ugashik, Nushagak, and Copper River. It also provides offline access to NOAA overlays for all of Alaska, organized location grid layouts, NOAA tide charts for Bristol Bay stations, weather forecasts, boundary lines with alarm functionality for major districts, waypoint and route creation capabilities for data sharing among users.
